Holiday accommodation in France
This charming spacious cottage has all you need for a get away from it all holiday,with its open beams, oak staircase and window seats over looking the surrounding countryside. The cottage has an old world charm at the same time having all the comforts of a modern home.
There are 2 bedrooms sleeping 4 comfortably and a sofa bed sleeping a further 2 if needed.
It is located in the friendly village of Villepail, which offers a well stocked fishing lake,boules pitch and lots of great walks.
Villepail is a haven for wild life as the village is sat in a valley with rolling pasture and farm lands on one side and ancient woodland on the other.We often see the birds of prey soaring over our field.
The Garden
We have a large vegetable plot, Orchard and we keep free range chickens and geese.
We offer fresh eggs, fruit and vegetables(grown organically) in season.
If you book a weeks holiday with us in June, July or August you will receive a complimentary mixed vegetable box from us.
The Local Area
We have an excellent choice in our local area for organic produce. You can buy things like cheese, milk and pork direct from the farms or you can look out for the marked produce in the local supermarket.
We have a baker who calls in the village outside the cottage 3 times a week and a butcher who calls on Wednesday that you can take advantage of.
